Sculpture & Installation
I have been working as a professional artist since 1998 in my exploratory journey i have worked in a diversity of mediums, techniques and scale. The resulting artworks includes everything from pop-art sized paper-mache, inmersive installations to hand carved wood to LED and PVC productions in limited series.

Drawings
These 2-sided collages are like artistic conversations that happen over time. Each piece starts with a series of collected images that trigger an idea and the work evolves from there.
Moving to collage is a natural progression for me. As an artist, I have always dabbled in multiple mediums. This means that I have always collected items to use later whether in a drawing, a scan for a digital artwork, or a reference for a piece that has yet to be built.

These series are all about embracing the unpredictability of ink and watercolor meeting paper. For me is a simple exercise that re-thinks a still live drawing that turns into a meaningfull project due to the practice of doing it consistently for many years and turning the gaze to the simple objects around us.
There's something about committing to each line as it flows from pen to surface—no erasing, no taking it back, just pure intention mixed with a healthy dose of "let's see where this goes."
Collage
2-D
I used to create collages digitally with layers on the computer. The process of layering and building led me naturally to layering in real life, discovering the joy that comes from the tactile process of developing with my hands.
The way that they are displayed also helps reinforce the process that makes them special. The 3D frames let you see both sides at once, so nothing stays hidden. Front, back, all the layers and textures are part of the experience.

Digital Art

Each digital artwork is produced in a small batch limited series. One early artist proof was also presented on a billboard in Mexico as part of a solo show at the Sinaloa Museum of Art, an urban piece waving at passbyers.

Digital Animations

Bringing the power of digital art to the movement and point of view found in film and online games. these early works were part of my digital explorations and my eagerness to experiment with new media and movement in the early 2000's
Collaboration
Working with other artists brings out ideas I wouldn't reach on my own. When different creative minds tackle the same project, the results tend to be stronger conceptually and visually more interesting. Each artist brings their own aesthetic, but the shared vision ties it all together into something none of us would have made alone.
